What year is it? My old Megane (1st shape 1997 model) had to be reset using a computer. My new Laguna (and most likely my new Megane (new shape 2008) just press the stalk that contains the onboad computer button until the service screen comes up then press and hold the button. The display should start flashing and the counter will reset to the service interval and take the spanners away.

if it is like my laguna, with a button on the right hand indicator stick.

press the button until you get the service counter on it, mine counts down from an oil change every 9000 miles.

Press and hold then button in for about ten secs, the service light will reset.

    Sorry if it doesnt work

**Sorry, maybe i should read the previous post a bit more before i post**
