Hi

I have been living in a property now since the 8th July this month, im curious as too how much our gas and elec will be and have been looking about, but have no clue as this is the first time ive had to do all this.

Based on the below figures is anyone able to estimate an average monthly figure?

8th July - Present

Electric: 3273 - 3362
Gas: 01522.828 - 01532.599

Any help would be great?

thanks

Assuming a price of 10p for a kWh of electricity you have used approx £9 in 2 weeks allowing for some at a higher tier 1 price, and it is summer - light evenings and no lights until late - you are probably looking at £25 a month.

Gas is impossible to calculate for a monthly average, as presumably you don't have the heating on in summer.

You have used about £3 of gas in 2 weeks.

I thought it was going to be something like that but it seemed a bit too cheap, or is that about right for a working couple? Based on those figures, does anyone have any suggestions on who i should use for my gas/elec and if i should use same company for both?

    thanks
