Flatpanel LCD Wall-mounted Screen

Hi I'm looking for a LCD screen to have as the screen for a multimedia center style PC. I'm obviously going to need something with a high enough refresh that there won't be any ghosting, but brightness isn't too important - I've got a black-out blind I can pull down, and an energy saving bulb that isn't too bright (aswell as orange walls that're dark enough that they don't reflect the light too much (like white walls do)).
The bigger the better, but I don't want to spend more than £140 (or not too much more anyway; I might stretch to £150).
Any help is much appreciated :D.

EDIT: Just found a 17" TFT at ebuyer for £110 + delivery (link) quickfind code 81480, I found a site selling wallmounts cheap too (link), not sure if this screen can be wallmounted though (none of the reviews say anything about it, and neither does the spec).

Gonna go and play on my Gamecube now (I work all week, and now my Fiance works Saturdays (starting today :()), when I come back I want to see some replies ;) :P.

If you'd clicked on the links, products....images you'd have noticed the screen is 16ms response and can be wall mounted (picture of back shows stand screwed)

  • Yeah but it doesn't mention it being VESA compatible anywhere (the wallmounting standard I think), also I did spot it had a 16ms refresh but i'm used to refresh quoted in Hz so I don't know if that figure can directly tell me whether they'll be any ghosting while watching movies or whathaveyou.
Just had a look at that pic (had already looked at it) and I can't make out whether those are actually screws.

Anyway sorry if I somehow annoyed you rogerramjet, I always try to answer questions myself before asking for help (tried asking eBuyer too but they said to contact the manufacturer (themselves) and then said they don't offer before or after sale technical support/information, just refunds.

Didn't annoy me at all..sorry if my response came across like that!

anyway, I've done a little digging and found this website which maybe of benefit

Appears to be the manufacturer so you could probably email them to get your queries

    Also manual is here

  • Cool :) thanks, the specifications a little different to the one quoted on ebuyer (a bit better actually) but its deffinetely the same picture being used on ebuyer's site.

Don't know if anyone else is looking for a screen like this at the moment but I've noticed a few others mentioned on this site (none this cheap) shame the stock status is "stock overdue", hopefully that'll change next week (I don't like waiting ages for things to be delivered).
