Dont turn it on! open the back and take out the battery and sim card etc, then leave it in a warm place for about a week, hopefully it will be fine0

should I buy a new battery then?0

don't put it in a warm place.. it'll take ages..
get some normal rice, and a airtight container..
fill container with rice, and place phone, no battery, back off, slide it open as well, in the rice.. place lid, and leave for 2 days.
rice acts like silica gel, and will suck the moisture out of the phone.
If after 2 days, phone doesn't work.. hmm.. not much else you can do

We popped our DD's Samsung e 350 into the airing cupboard for a week after it went through a bio wash - pulled off battery and removed sim card. Recharged battery and it fired up. NB The phone is still working 6 months + later!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

Why did you put it in the washing machine?
I wouldn't have thought you would be able to pick up a signal in there :rotfl:
Anyway I once got sea water into a personal cassette player and it never worked again,
Washing water might not be as bad depending on what kind of soap powder you used.
I think it was the salt which killed mine.
Try sticking it in the tumbe dryer :rotfl:0 -
Or you can go over it (inside & out) with a vacuum cleaner, gets it dry more quickly.
Don't try to turn it on until it is completely dry. Several days at least.0 -
this is why i like my samsung solid cheap and chearful and do's not mind getting washed even on a high spin cycle :Tthere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0
