actually, every one of the 25-odd temp jobs that i've done in the past paid me weekly. i sent my timesheet in on the friday and money was in my account (or a cheque was posted) on the wednesday. You show me a job vacancy that pays for a week's work at the end of that week and maybe I will understand where you are coming from. No jobs paid legally these days are that simple. .:happyhear0 -
            Hey, not judging, suggesting.
I put off my round the world trip by 2 months, cos i suddenly had to pay out £1000 for my car.
Uni normally doesnt start till Oct, so why not spend most of Sep travelling?
Most unis nowadays do online enrolment, or by phone, so's people who are away cans still be away.
I guess i just look at things from a different perspective.
You need £200, in 1 Week, but get paid monthly (f'rinstance)
Thats two variables that CAN be changed. and one you can try.
Money - look at what you already have, and what you can lay your hands on.. borrow from parents etc.
Time - the more time you work the more money you'll have when it does arrive.
Pay Monthly - Ask your employer really nicely, if you can get an advance on the wages. Explain the situation, worst they can say, is No.Credit card: [STRIKE]£2533.30[/STRIKE] £0 as of July '16!Overdraft: [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE]£0 as of July '16!Aim:Save for a working trip to New Zealand leaving late 2016/ early 2017!0 -
I never actually said I was going on holiday. It's a university related thing which I can't not go on, so people can stop preaching to me there.
I'll probably borrow some money from family.0 -

well when you put the toys back in the pram because people have taken time to try and help you based on the information you gave, then yes, perhaps people will stop 'preaching' (or offering sensible advice that you simply don't want to hear).I never actually said I was going on holiday. It's a university related thing which I can't not go on, so people can stop preaching to me there.:happyhear0 -

Well aren't you lucky. I don't have a car so am restricted to where I can work, don't have any previous office experience and there aren't other non-office temping jobs going, so I had to go with what I was offered.0 -

i'm just pointing out that you don't have to get an 'illegal' job to be paid weekly, as you clearly think is the case. but please, be an ungrateful spoilt brat about it.Well aren't you lucky.
