Still seem to get this problem (thought it had been resolved!) It's a pain having to log in again every 5 to 10 mins or if you switch between forums and want to post?
I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!

Next time you try to post and are confronted with the "Please Log In" mini-page, tick the box that says "keep me logged in" or "remember me" or whatever it is (there's only the one little box - can't remember what it actually says!) before you fill in your User Name and password.
That will keep you logged in (via a cookie).

You may need to alter your browser settings.
If your browser is configured to refuse "cookies", MSE's "cookie" cannot load and keep you logged in.
You don't necessarily need to change the setting to let all "cookies" in; you can configure it to just let in those from specific sites that you trust.
(Assuming that you trust MSE...)

I sometimes have a problem posting with Firefox, I'd type a reply, click post, and it'll just come up with a blank page and lose the posting.
It's usually a cookie problem. Delete all your cookies and cache (preferably using CCleaner - which is excellent), and try again, login, "remember me" etc, and you'll be fine. Usually happens once every 2-3 months with me, then I clear the cache/cookies and all is fine again.0 -
Yes, I am with FF and do accept cookies! Will give the CCleaner a try.I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

Don't forget that in Ccleaner you can elect to save certain cookies, which helps with logins.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

If you are having the problem with MSE I suggest you clear out all the MSE cookies, as it's usually a problem with a cookie which causes this issue...0
