Just got new pc set up and evertything's working fine except for keyboard. Some of the shift keys such as @ and the pound sign are not where they should be. Is it a duff keyboard or do the settings need adjusting? If its duff they'll exchange it no problem.

Goto control panel & click on Languages & regions,
select Languages tab & click details
Click on add & select the UK keyboard layout,
then change the default to UK in the drop down bar.0 -
To Change Keyboard Language Settings Do This.
Click on Start, Control Panel, Date Time and Regional Options,
Add Other Languages, Language Tab, Details.
Now click on, Add, Select (English United Kingdom) Click Ok
If you still see, English United States, Just Click On it Once
then click on remove, now click OK.
Now log off then back on for changes to take effect0 -
