Eurocamp/Perpignan, France

Hiya

Unable to resist their half price deals, I've just booked a week in the Brazilia Eurocamp, Canet Plage, next May. I am too early to book flights, but am relying on BMI flying to Perpignan from Manchester (they do currently!)

Has anyone stayed with Eurocamp here, or know anything about Perpignan airport? I am considering hiring a car, but don't know if it'll get enough use to justify cost (am planning to spend most of the time on beach/by pool with kids). Any ideas where I can get a good hire deal/flight deal? Or anyone with any good tips for this area?

I'm a bit late responding to your question so you probably know all the answers but we flew to/from Perpignan airport in September. We had booked car hire in advance and there were all the usual car hire companies at the airport. It's a very small airport and I did pick up a bus timetable when we were leaving in case we decided to go back (the buses tie in with the flights so there aren't that many throughout the day). I don't know anything about the site you've booked but have you searched on the Trip Advisor forums? There's usually lots of good advice regarding sites and travel to/from them. Hope this helps a bit.
