Do you need to buy petrol from a shell garage at any time to be able to use this card.

Say you spend £100, get £1 cashback - this will be applied when you fill up at Shell.

If you put in 20 litres at 1.20, your card will be charged £23 instead of £24

Is there any time limit that you have to fill up.
I am asking because we do not have many shell garages in my area, only one that I pass every 2 - 3 months.
I am only after the 1% of other purchases and not petrol but I can redeem them every time i do pass a shell garage as long as there is not a time limit.

yes you do have to buy shell fuel to get the cash back if in a month you do not it get carried over to the next month until you buy shell fuel not sure how many months they carry it over for though.

I believe you have to fill at least once every 6 months.

From Citi's site:

"If you do not purchase Shell fuel in GB for six months or more, any Shell Cash Back earned more than six months previously, but not redeemed, will be lost."

you dont get it the first time you use the card , it comes off as a credit on the next statement, and so on! I have the card!

I have been using this card for about 5 months. The cashback- 3% for fuel purchases from Shell and 1% from all other purchases are building up every month and so far hasn't been deducted against any fuel purchases. Don't know when it will be adjusted against future purchases.

I have been using this card for 8months and every month my previous months earned cashback has be deducted from the total bill, I purchase shell fuel twice a month. I seem to remember there was a thread a while back that said if the staion is not a shell owned station it might not be included as a shell fuel purchase

It should be the following month to earning it. Back in Jan/Feb there was a system issue, but this is now fixed. This assumes it is a Shell station and not an unlinked franchise ::)
