Have website address, need to know more about the company

How can I find out more about this company, where it is based, who owns it etc. All I know is the website address www.directfuneralservices.co.uk.

I have seen on here before posting about the website being owned by such and such and based in such and such a place but I don't know how to do it.

I want to know if it looks dodgy at all.

You can do a WHOIS search for domains ending in .uk at the Nominet website by using the "WHOIS" box. Type in the domain without the www. so it would be directfuneralservices.co.uk.

What information are you trying to seek though? As Nominet will only give you so much information.

If its for legal, ask nominet for the address, they need to supply it for legal reasons.

Thank you all very much, it seems that this person may be active again. My husband is a funeral director who has had several phone calls from other funeral directors who have provided services for this company and not been paid. They have traced him to an address in our home area so have rung to see if he knew of them, which he doesn't. It's scary that people can carry on like this in such a sensitive industry. :mad:
