Hmmm  I smell wierdness
I entered my postcode and surprise surprise no stock so tried mum in law's and almost wet myself when it showed in stock :j
So went through the checkout and only when it got to the delivery details did it kick out the postcode as invalid (I'd typed the letter O instead of zero)
When it checked again lo and behold it was out of stock.
So I went back to the availability check again and changed the 0 in my postcode to a O and hey presto it's back in stock again
Now call me paranoid but why is it showing the thing in stock with a postcode that doesnt exist instead of telling me that it's an invalid postcode0 -
Well this morning (around 3am) it let me order one but I've just tried to check my post code again and it's now showing out of stock so I guess it's another wait and see!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Ditto!
Greetings fellow insomniac :rotfl:
Don't look too good for the tv tho.....oh well!!0 -
Have read elsewhere that Dixons will be ringing to point out mistake and ask if customers would like to continue with the order at the correct price of £497
Checked yesterday morning and my postcode said out of stock, but checked back yestereday evening and was able to order one.
Thing that annoys me, if they know about this mistake, why the hell don't they fix their website!

Well,
I managed to order one of these last night, after trying in the evening with no luck.
I tried to order another this morning, but they're out of stock again!

Well, I've heard nothing more yet about the Toshiba tv, but I've just checked my credit card balance and they have actually taken payment for the Matsui tv ordered a couple of days ago, so fingers crossed that one will go through"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Haver you had your 3rd e-mail for order acceptance on the Matsui ?
Just wondering if they take the money then decide to renege on the order .0 -
No, I haven't had a delivery date confirmed or received the 3rd email, so I'm not building up my hopes of actually getting it yet, although I do wonder where I might stand being as they've actually taken payment now"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Sugar_Dad wrote:Think you'll find this item has been up and running most of Saturday so chance of actually getting one is virtually nill but heres hoping anyway. They must have "sold" thousands by now !!!
No not sold thousands as you wont get one but defo harvested thousands of addys.
Credit card companies and banks tell you not to use your cards to pay for anything that seems dodgy to which 99.9% of use adhere to. BUT as soon as a misprice appears to which this is we start throwing our personal details all over the place, me included :wall:0 -
What's dodgy about Dixons in all this ? They have got your CC details etc , so what . Just the same as going into the store & giving the details over the counter .0
