yeah you can do it but only if you know stock is coming in really, its not worth buying 3/4 of the package if you dont lknow the last part will ever come in again.

:eek: i seem to have caused confusion......i seem to be getting reserves on part of the package,although as said before,i think you can collect at later date,only if stock does come in,but if you can find package without 1 part owed,still seems to be a good deal......


i'm not sure if nationwide about game collection later,just what my daughter said can happen

I got the Store Checker thing to work on my Laptop so it must have been a glitch on my PC.

i went to my argos today after resering a ps2 y/day,when i got there they said my order was cancelled :eek: ,i was so anoyed as all local stores are out of stock.,i asked for an explanation and they said they were expecting stock on thurs but didnt get it...hmmm i think something funny is going on,why did the online checker let me reserve it if they had no stock...very strange. :mad:

If an item is due on delivery you can reserve it, sometimes the delivery doesnt arrive, wrong cages are sent, or the items are missing for some reason or another(sometimes theft or computer error). Our store were due 10 singstars last monday and received 2, loads of unhappy customers. The whole delivery process is gettin better though since the extra range was inplemented in all stores, we used to have whole boxes of mobiles missing on delivery lol

Well, yesterday i managed to find a store in Maidenhead which had all four items... i reserved it and embarked on the hour drive to get there.

When i keyed in my reservation number into the autopay it was showing one of the items out of stock!

In a strop, i queued up to speak to someone and on their system it said they had some. I was so releaved! I promptly paid and in true money saving style bought a £1 gift voucher to get the order over £100 for the £10 off.

I collected the pack, and then used my £11 vouchers to buy a memory card (usually £19.99) which was a bonus!

The offer is amazing compared to other stores... i almost bought a pack from Woolies or Game on friday when i was so annoyed at Argos - but what was on offer was both more expensive and included less. (although i'm not particularly interested in F1 or the singing game, i've already found a friend who wants to buy one for £20, and I just need to sell the other for the same to give me a total spend of £68 for the PS2, Sony memory card and 4gamers megapack! can't say fairer than that!)

that would leave me with a PS2 and no games though... hmm i think i need to work on the plan hehe
