Sticky stuff advice please

Have just had my new dishwasher delivered (hurrah!) but because it came from an auction site they've stuck a plastic pocket on the front, it was all grubby but I've stardrops it and it's taken away the dirt, it just hasn't taken away the sticky stuff ... any OS solutions please!!

White spirit and then rinse off with sugar soap will work0
