BEST PRICE SEEN YET - BOTH ORIGINAL AND EXTENDED EDITION BOXSETS:

www.powerplaydirect.com are selling the original Lord of the Rings wide-screen boxset for £11.99 but I would recommend getting the extended edition trilogy boxset for only £17.99! (as I have just done :) ) you have to be quick though - this was through their special offers 'summer sizzlers' selection which ends this August.

(P.S. I cannot work out if this offer will finish when August starts or ends...we'll soon find out though anyway)

I brought it here a few weeks ago for £9.79 (not the extended version) and the box set looks really good quality (some times you wonder what it would be like for that price!).

Remember to go through quidco, although mine wasn't recognised and I've sent it as an enqiry. There was a code available too:

Do you remember if that was that on some kind of offer as well?

I know what you mean, my twin just bought a huge 9 series Stargate boxset on ebay, it came all the way from China and despite the shiny silver box outside, it didn't half look naf inside. (there were 35 discs or so slipped into what looked like an un-bound flip photo-album). and it wasn't that cheap at £60. (or so I thought)

No, other than the discount mentioned above, it only gave a few pence off.
