sob sob :( £77+ for my mondeo

Me too, I've been dreading filling up since the last one. Had my car 6 years now and it's gone up £20+ to fill my tank in that time.

I filled up at Morrisons today and it was 113.9p but on petrol prices it's showing as 117.9p (with yesterdays date) so I presume they just haven't updated these latest cuts yet.

    £95 for the Volvo S60!

I've stopped filling it up... just £20 now and again...feels cheaper somehow!

Does 55 MPG so not so bad.

I'm surprised they have dropped the prices so quickly though, it usually takes a few weeks, but there would have been a big backlash if they didn't.

Nothing will put a good Doomster down. Have you thought about the impact that the consequent reduced VAT on petrol will have on the government's tax revenues, at a time when we know they are already severely stretched (because the government is trying to relax its borrowing limits)? Also this is just going to make people start driving more again, leading to global warming etc. etc.
  • Sainsburys have now reduced theirs by 5p a litre. Last night it was 118.9 this morning its 113.9p

There is always a lag of at least one day. The date the price was checked will be included with the price. I would expect to see the data updated to include the price cuts by around lunchtime today.
  • Starts tomorrow - vouchers only valid for 7 days.
