However, how does a computer billing a service which is all electronic make such a 'mistake'?MDUK wrote:I think that is a fair point, personally i don't necesarily get upset when things go wrong after all mistakes happen to the best of us. It's how they are dealt with that really matters. That is how i judge a company.0 -
easy the computer is operated by humans ,who do make mistakes !DonnyDave wrote:However, how does a computer billing a service which is all electronic make such a 'mistake'?0 -
So your saying a human bt employee accidently setup a alarm clock to ring my phone. Then when the alarm didn't even ring, cause the phone was unplugged, they still charge it on the bill? It sounds kinda hard for it all to be an 'accident'.
I'm tending to think it could be something nefarious, like someone or some program is randomly selecting bills to charge an innocent 123 number for only 17p. Most people would ignore it, or assume their kid or someone else did it. This 17p could add up to big dosh. I wouldn't mind being given 17p by millions of people. This could be a form of 'moneysaving' by BT themselves. If anyone complains, they can just say its an accident. Or even ask you if your sure you didn't do it. Remember companies aren't in it to be nice, they are in it for the profit.0 -
Yes, but BT hardly enter all your calls into this billing computer by hand. :rolleyes:ginger_nuts wrote:easy the computer is operated by humans ,who do make mistakes !0
