measuring for tiles

Hi I need new tiles in my kitchen its a bit of a funny shape and has two windows in middle how do I work out how many I need, they are 30cm x 30cm

You need to estimate the (wall?) area you want to cover, then deduct the area of the windows. On the box it will state how many square metres covered by a box of tiles. allow 10% for breakages. Alternatively take your measurements into the shop.
