Hastings- what to do thats child friendly? What Pubs?

So we found a caravan park, Combe Haven in st.leonards by sea. It was £510 for 1 week from the 26th jul 3 bed chalet (sleeps 8) including travel by train return!
But now i'd like all the info anyone has on hastings with kiddies and pushchairs.
There is the obvious -Battle, castle and blue reef but i'd really like to know the best pubs, walks, etc. The little things that you only know if you've been before. Cheers to anyone that can help.

OK. Starting at The Stade and heading west there is:
The Blue Reef Aquarium which takes Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers.
Next to the Aquarium is some sort of Maritime Museum which asks for a suggested donation of £1 for adults - kids go free.
There's the East Cliff Railway for a few quid.
Near the back of the Aquarium is the Minature Railway.
    There's a Fishermans Museum (free)
    RNLI station (free)
Flamingo Park - amusements and a few rides (costs loads if you stay a long time)
West Cliff Railway and at the top is a free playground.
Opposite the now closed pier is Clambers soft play which is one of the few soft plays that charge for adults to enter. Only thing is that it is up a steep hill.
