Mbna stingers

Options
At the moment i am currently being financialy beaten up by Mbna's ridiculous interest rate. After numerous calls to make them aware of my situation they agreed to stop the late charges (but not the interest of course) so that i could pay what i could afford. My interest alone each month was £243 on a £9000 debt, and of course this keeps climbing. After making reasonable payments each month (no less than £120, sometimes as much as 200) and keeping in contact as instructed they set their infamous debt collectors RMA on me, who hassled me daily and would not let me off the phone until i hung up or made a payment. They seem to think i can just get a loan and it will all be ok, but i have explained that although my rating is good ( at the moment) i cannot even get a loan secured on the house. So when i had to borrow the money from family to get them off my credit rating they just said i had to pay more. Capitol one have been the best and have put me on a payment plan, but my own bank Lloyds have been no help at all threatening to freeze my account or take my overdraft away when i have called for help. I am at my wits end and i don't know what to do, the cccs have been helpful but in my current personal situation an iva or bankruptcy is out of the question. Has anyone else been in this situation and if so what did they do?

This isn't really for the stoozing board - if you post this on the DFW (Debt Free Wannabee) board there are plenty of people there who have beaten their debts and will be able to advise.

    Good Luck.
