I agree with the Sunday evening but sometimes a Thursday evening can be good as well.

I actually spread my auctions so I have more time to pack and send as I like to despatch within 24 hours of payment, but I do tend to avoid Friday evenings as they rarely perform well for me. Having said that though I had a load of items finish last Friday evening after the cheap listing day and I did very very well..so I might have blown my own theory!

I actually asked the experts at Ebay themselves when I met some of the Ebay for Charity guys at a conference. They told me that Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings are the best between 19:30 and 21:00

I wouldn't say Friday and Sturday as most people are more busy doing their own thing

The problem is too many other people think Sunday evening is best resulting in stiff competion.....as a seller of duplicate items (and therefore making it easier to see) i have far better success on a Monday evening....after the weekend when everyones on a bit of a low and wants a pick me up purchase...
However, come summer it is all weather dependant...a nice evening can end in disasterous results for me as I'm usually a 99p starter

When I sold on EBay this was why BIN's were great. You just scatter them through the week and all should be well.
