  • This is a brilliant post thanks so much to OP. I had one sent to my little sister in Canada total including postage was £17! She received it yesterday and loved it! A bit early for xmas I know but it was one of those 'I saw this and thought of you' moments, and if it was going to cost £3.90 to send it to me anyway, I may as well have sent it straight to Canada!

  • Hi

I have just ordered 2 for pressies! Thanks to OP. We went to USA last year and I bought a disney monopoly in a tin over there from a cheap outlet and paid $50 about £30-in the disney parks they were $100 + tax

Thanks ever so much. I dont have alot of money but this has meant ive been able to get very decent quality pressies for 2 special kids for little money and had allocated £10 each fot them so am very chuffed.

Tried to get mine in a store yesterday and was told by a cashier they'd just sold one that was put aside for someone. When I asked if one could be put aside for me, I was refered to the manager and was told it was first come first serve!!

I just looked at the cashier who then wouldn't make eye contact and walked out. Makes sense to order on the internet when you don't have to be at the mercy of stores who set aside stock for selected customers. Plus I have to travel 20 miles to the nearest store and it would be a waste of petrol if none were available.

Hardly the attitude of a company which has supposedly "ethical" values - they won't sell Harry Potter stuff because the company doesn't believe in Witchcraft. Or customer service by the sounds of it?

  • Not going so well for me, ordered several toys including 2 Disney Monopolys for xmas presents.

Delivery included everything but the Monopolys. However delivery note and invoice were for 2 Monopolys only, not the goods that I received.

Have emailed them will advise of their reply.

Wow - thanks OP for this. I am off to MK tomorrow to do some birthday shopping for my little boy - and will hopefully be picking one of these up for Christmas.

Personally I love The Entertainer - more so because of their stand against Sunday trading. Also pleased to see that the Op. Director also uses MSE!, and that he takes action on some of the posts - ie the postage to Scotland, and also NI.
