    The Roaches in the Staffs moorlands is lovely for a walk, and there's a very nice tea room near the car park with lots of outdoor tables on a terrace, so dog could come too - they do lovely home-made cakes.

    Market day in Leek is on Wednesdays
    Leek Ghost Walks, never actually been on one but they have them on Wednesday & Friday evenings the Tourist Information Centre has details 01538 483 741
    Tittesworth water - nice walks round there
