Business Insurance - Working From Home??

Can anyone tell me where I can get quotes for a home-based website selling business? My current insurer no longer does home-based sales and with most companies the minute you mention you sell online they seem to freak-out (dont ask me why). I sell through my own website and not via ebay and need general buildings and contents cover (personal) and stock and product liability cover (business). THere are so many people who sell online si can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can get quotes?
I realise as I dont have any employees I dont technically need the insurance but nobody will insure us for buildings and personal insurance only as I work from home. Looking at premises but it takes months to finalise all paperwork etc and my insurance expires in around a week.
Any help much appreciated (will ask on ebay board also if anyone who sells on ebay is insured and who by).

Try Hiscox, they are really good. If that doesn't work, try Icon, though I've had some bother with them. Hopefully they won't be on the list that have freaked out already! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I tried a number of local insurance brokers from the Yellow Pages contacting those who mentioned commercial insurance in their ads. They all offered Axa who do a home workers' policy but the prices varied a lot so worth shopping around..0

Cheers for the help
Hiscox will call back, Icon only deal by post/email so have sent me a form to complete and then say they will look at that within a week, Axa are current insurers and they have changed their policies so cant offer a renewalHave managed to find someone who will offer insurance, loads of conditions, but would be insured so phew at least I have an option now.
Just found a shop a like as well so may be moving into that - just wary of the house to shop leap lol (would be using it as office/storage rather than shop as its mail order/internet I deal with).0 -
Have you tried Fortis? They do a homeworker policy. I use them for public liability/employee liability insurance. Not sure if you can deal with them directly, if not my broker is James and Lindsay Ltd 01206 761111Make £2025 in 2025
