Help with new line (need to be added to BT database but want to go with Tiscali)

Check out this link. I'm with BT and don't use the phone a lot. I tend to use jajah but like having the phone rather than the headset. We do make a few calls but we also need the connection for o2 broadband which I get for free anyway (nice).
This is a very basic package from BT but has NO minimum contract term, its basically a rolling contract that i think you need to give 30 days notice to cancel.

Even if you were on that call package you would still have to pay BT £70 cancellation if you moved your line rental to another supplier before the minimum term ended.0 -

oops just seen its only a rolling contract to CURRENT BT customers.0 -
Dammit... just realised that that offer was for existing customers, as that was my original plan, to leave and go with another provider...
Now i either have to find a cheap provider which offers just broadband and lets me stay with BT (which rules out orange and takl talk as the best value i've seen so far) or just pay another stupid 70 and offset it with the savings if the overall annual cost is lower...
I'm guessing its too late to cancel it althuogh i havent had the line installed yet... but i dont think there are any alternatives as cable is not available in the area, and i dont think mobile broadband will be as fast, or support 2 users...
Thanks for the replies though0 -
You should still be able to go with any ADSL ISP and there are quite a few out there but like most things you get what you pay for, so long as it is not LLU and you keep your BT line rental you should be OK.0
