How do I do this, I have got a HDTV with scart leads connected from it to the PVR, the PVR has a 9 pin male serial socket on the back so I would imagine I could connect the laptop directly to that!! , the laptop has svhs (tv out port) and an RGB monitor port (15 pin female) and an iLink port, what is the cheapest way cablewise to do this, I need the audio side of it as well so that I can transfer it to DVD.

Sounds quite complicated to me, but I'm guessing you guys will know an easy and cheap way to do this.

    Cheers
    Thanks for any help

I use a Dazzle signal conveter and Instant Dvd recorder. The cables used are the normal red & white rc cables for audio and the yellow rc cable for video. This can be done live (while the program runs on tv or from a pvr recording) All unwanted stuff like ads can be edited and cut out afterwards with any good video editing program. Hope this helps!!
