Apologies if this isn't the right forum.
I am after a new handset (contract, currently with Orange but will go with any network).
I need a handset that can be conveniently and easily used as an organising tool i.e. diary & to do list. I currently have a Samsung E770 that has a calendar feature, but the interface is quite awkward and annoying to use. I need something that is almost like a PDA, but don’t need it for sending emails. Other than that the usual features- phone, SMS, camera, video and tri band.
Does anyone know a handset that answers all my prayers or how best to go about finding it – cannot look in the shops as the phones are just dummies, so can’t try the interface…

LG Viewty ( KU990 )
had mine since they were released last year, it's spectacular.
prob needs a new battery after 6 months (dirt cheap on ebay), but that is the only complaint. great little phone"If you really want to hurt your parents and you don't have nerve enough to be homosexual, the least you can do is go into the arts."0 -
I'm looking for a new phone myself, you should look a blackberry. They have all you need plus wifi and there are some small slim ones out too. 8110 smartphone is nice.
Personally I'm looking for a thin phone with wifi.0 -

It's certainly a great 'phone but it isn't that little!
I thought of buying one myself but was deterred by its bulk and weight. Inevitable, I suppose, with the additional complexity of an optical zoom.
But shouldn't all this be being discussed in the Mobile 'Phones forum?
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

officially, it can't... but, with the new 2.0 software, and the appstore, a video app may appear...
even without video, the iphone is slim, and has wifi built in! ooh.. and 3g... and crackberrys don't have that just yet!!!
