The Scottish Power web site seems to imply that they can do these deals by purchasing the gas/electricty in advance themselves. Im sure its not quite as straight forward as that but maybe that partly explains how they can offer capped prices and still make a profit when the wholesale price goes up4kW 8.33 Eternity (2.5kW SSE 1.5kW WSW).
