Well another way I am looking at saving money is by stopping smoking on Thursday.
The reason it is Thursday is because my friend and I always go to each others house on a Thursday and so now the £5.00 each we would have spent on cigarettes we are going to put in a jar and then use it at Christmas time.
Should be about £105 each.
Easy eh??!!??0 -
Hi and welcome cw676.
I've sold lots of books on Amazon. It's really easy - however there are so many sellers that the price of popular books has been forced right down. So it's not the best place for popular novels, but great if you have got text books or rarer titles.
I've never sold on Green Metropolis, but I think they have a fixed price for books, and that sales tend to be much slower than Amazon.
Carboot sales can be good too - if you don't mind getting 50p each or less for your books, you can get rid of a lot in one go without the faff of packing and queuing in the post office.
Have a look at the 'Ebay, auctions and carboots' board on here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=40Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
