Hi there,
Not too sure if this is in the right forum so please feel free to move it and it isn't.
My hubby and I are going to York in 2 weeks time for the weekend for our second wedding anniversary. We managed to convince the in-laws to babysit the little one and would be in York for 2 nights.
I wonder if anybody can recommend a nice restaurant. As it is for a special occasion we are looking for a bit of a special restaurant with fine dining modern cuisine.
Would anybody be able to recommend a nice one.
Thanks in advance

Would agree the Blue Bicycle is a good choice but if you like seafood Loch Fyne over Harvilles every time. Meltons is supposed to be a top York restaurant but the first time I went had a very bad experience and would never go again.
If you like Steak try El Gaucho in Walmgate.
For all these Restaurants you need to be booking now.0 -
Thank you all for your suggestions.
We booked the Loch Fyne for Saturday week and can't wait. I has a look at their menu and I just want to eat it all.
Is it like a brasserie or a bit more "classy"?? It doesn't really matter because their menu is so nice though0
