Wallpaper stripper / Pressure washer

I've been thinking of getting one of those pressure/steam washer thingys, but was thinking maybe you could replace the plate on a wallpaper stripper with a small nozzle and it would do the same thing. Has anyone tried this, and does it work? Is the pressure good enough?
