My daughter has just got a job at Morrisons, stacking shelves (does this count as retail?, suspect it does) oh well she only does a max on 12 hours a week because she is doing a levels, they are flexible and the money is good for ther age, she is nearly 17, there is loads more hours if she ever wants them. Before that she worked in a kids soft play area, she loved it but the money was not good.

    Hi ACID,

I hope that you don't mind, but I am going to move your thread over to the student board, where hopefully you will get more replies.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

Does your college/university have a jobshop or similar? Worth a look there, unless you are going a distance home for weekends and need a job there.

Cinemas, theatres etc - my son used to work for local cinema and it was a lot easier than shelf-stacking!

    Bars, cafes, restaurants.

    Corner shops.

Probably worth doing the rounds and asking - they may not have got round to advertising!
