Ideas for Used Car?

Hi all,

I am currently having trouble with my car and am considering getting something different.

I am looking to spend around 2.5k. Any ideas on what i should go for - i will meainly be using the car for going to work and general run around and would prefer 5 door over 3.

any ideas or cars suggested appreciated.

could do with more info like are you carrying young kids or adults etc

how about ford focus/vauxhall astra or ford mondeo/vaux vectra

being popular as fleet cars there bound to be cheap ones available
