Replace lock in multi-point lock

Hi,
I want to replace the lock cylinder in a door that has a multi point locking system. Simple enough I thought - I only need to remove one screw that releases the cylinder from the door handle mechanism and then slide in the new cylinder and put the screw back in.
Then of course I noticed that along the edge of the door are all those screws holding in the strip of the 5 locking points. So I proceeded to remove the screws so that I could remove the strip to get access to the screw that I need to remove that holds the cylinder.
Of course I could not remove the strip because of the rollers on the end of the locking points! I even though that the points/rollers could be removed with an allen key...which I couldn't - although the allen key fit they just kept turning round and around. So that is where I am stuck and I cannot find anywhere on the net that explains what I need to know.
Can someone please help! I am probably doing things all wrong and this will probably sound extremely hilarious to all the people in the know. But I'll be grateful if someone can guide me to the enlightened path.

Yep one screw in line with the lock is all you need to undo. Remember to get the exact right size of cylinder lock to replace, I've heard of theives being able to lock ram these type of locks (if it sticks out too much you can whack it with a hammer and since it is only held by one screw this can shear, leaving no lock!!)0
