can't seem to switrch suppliers online

Hi
Can anyone please help.

I have previously read threads from other members that they have switched while being a prepayment meter customer and presumably remained a prepayment meter customer after the switch, so don't know why I am finding it so difficult. Can anyone help. I want to change to Ebica and still remain as a prepayment customer for both gas and electricity. At present I don't have dual fuel.
Do I have to ring them or write to them. I have been to at least three sites to switch suppliers and they all say they can't do it online.
