dad is paying 40% so limited co may be best

way forward i was told. what are the costs of setting up a


limited company.

1) buy off the shelf
2) audited accounts
3) any other regular things that need to be paid for

also is there any additional paperwork to be done? and what would this be?

    Also, some recommended reading is ISBN 1859418236, Setting Up a Limited Company (Border, Rosy; Fairweather, Mark). Only around 100 pages long but explains all the basics and what is required.

    Also worthwhile getting advice from an accountant on whether it's advantageous to go Limited from a taxation point of view.

    Accountancy costs will be far more than a normal business partnership, maybe double.
