Switching from BG

I have been with BG for ever for both gas and electricity, but with prices now I think it is time to switch. I have just had the meters read for both, and have had updated bills.
Gas - £48.00 per month by DD, currently £47.83 in credit
Electricity - £36 per month by DD, currently £53.63 in credit.
I used the monthly figures on energy helpline site, and it showed BG being the cheapest on click energy 5, saving me £200 a year. I phoned them and they said their figures showed I could save £129 a year. I asked about capped fees, and they quoted me slightly more than I am paying now, but capped until Dec 2009.
Not sure what to do, can anyone advise? Thanks

The reason Energyhelpline & BG gave different answerws is you used the monthly DD, and BG will have used kWh - so they'll be more accurate.
As to choosing Click or capped - you'll have to decide which is better.
How much is the difference between click & capped? How much do you guess prices are going to rise before Dec 09? Either way is a gamble really - just don't get left on Standard prices.0 -
I've just switched to Scottish Power and have capped prices until 2011. From what i've seen on various comp sites there is only one cheaper fixed price tariff, buts its only capped until 20100
