Oh.. and one more thing before I track down todays list.. DD2 got her report today.. as I knew she got straight 5's in her SAT's getting 88% in the maths paper.. the highest in her class!

Any tips for making my bin smell sweet, it currently makes me want to vomit:rolleyes:

Ended up doing nothing yesterday for various reasons (one of which was sheer [strike]laziness[/strike] exhaustion)

So will try a little catch up today. Hello to all :hello:


Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors
Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission : help yourself

1. clean the hob..
2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
   
3. 29 fling boogie.. GO!
4. buy yourself some flowers from the shop.. your reward for making the kitchen shine!
5. Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET

Tuesday trashing- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! (the proper bins not the rooms that look like bins!)
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Collect all the dirty laundry
Extra mission: Take your pick!

1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
2. clean the radiators in these rooms
3. Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
4. replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it
5. HHI... a bit more gone!
6. WM x [STRIKE]4[/STRIKE]3
7. DW x 1
8. 2 hours filing (broken up into 15 minute bursts)
9. Shopping list
10. Supermarket

Not sure what I'll be able to get done today as I'm at work then it's DS sports day, then DS is a policeman in the school production of Oliver,:j so a busy day, but if I don't try my house will take over.

they are the end of key stage 1, 2 and 3 tests they do down here to make sure the teachers are teaching what they are supposed to be.. 88% is the highest score they got this year!!

I fill mine with boiling water and a splash of stardrops and soak it for a bit.. then empty it and wipe it out and bung in a new binbag..
