  • I have a £22 sight-test today otherwise it would be another £0 day. Working from home on fridays - I get more work done now i don't pop out for a look around.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

£1.50 on a birthday card for my boss. Other than that I'm not going to spend anything for the rest of the day.

Don't worry ms_london - only 6 days to go after today!

oops £4.30 on lunch out, a delicious chicken terriyaki take-out. I think i might start budgeting for one eat out lunch per week, just to be sociable with my office workers. They eat out every day. However, as I went to the cash machine to withdraw some money it dawned on me how infrequently I am making withdrawals now!

Spend free weekend this weekend, OH and I will be enjoying the autumn weather by taking a walk along the Thames, Friday night telly is good and we'll watch and old DVD for Saturday night.

That sounds like a nice way to spend the weekedn Tondella!
I know what you mean about going to the cash machine - I hardly go these days. This morning I know I had to get some money (to buy the card) but I couldn't even remember where the closest one to the tube station was!
  • Gave my boys 50p each for non-uniform day at school (raising money for earthquake victims) plus an extra 40p each for snacks (sounds tight I know but that's all the change I had, honestly! lol). That's it (so far).

Ms_london, Tondella and Mango, which part of London are u all from??

I live in Maida Vale, quite expensive being so close to town but it means that I can cycle to work everyday (even today, yes even in that downpour!) and walk to most places at the weekend. It's quite a nice place if you don't know it, leafy and residential, the odd restaurant and bar but mostly corner shops.

I'm in Palmers Green, way up north, nearly in Enfield! Very close to Alexandra Palace/Muswell Hill area though, which I love.
