Have you made sure your pc is outputing to 2 monitors, it won't do that automatically and selected the correct input on the tv ?0

anyone? do i need software for this dual screen?0

Right click on your desktop and select Properties.
Click on the Settings tab at the top
There should be a picture of 2 monitors. Select the second monitor and enable it. You can then change the resolution, etc., of the second monitor.0 -
No.
If you explain how your PC is connected, via which cables etc, we'll be able to help. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -

hi, connected the pc to tv with s-video cable used a scart for the audio etc, the dualview mode was set at 1 instead of 0, here is the next problem, when i do that process advanced stuff now, when i click my monitor setting it fails saying sisapcom.dll is missing or something and then closes0 -
if you know your graphics card make and model I'd suggest checking their website for the lastest drives and install them. In general gives beter performance, might also replace the missing .dll
You could try here:-
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?sisapcom
I did a quick google and found the above - I cant vouch for the site.0 -

Does your TV not have a VGA input (same plug as for your monitor)? If so, it's much easier - just plug the cable in and use the settings I mentioned.
If you connect with S-Video, you need to set your computer to output to TV. If you connect with a VGA cable, the computer sees the TV as a monitor so it's easier and will work (since it's already using a monitor). You will also get better resolution using the VGA cable over the S-Video.0 -
