    Hi
Fairly new to this myself but I just received a catalogue from a gardening centre and it is selling packs of plants to grow from autumn over the winter - things like cabbage, broccoli, onions and cauliflowers, so it might be worth thinking of something like that? the Catalogue was from a Dobies of Devon but I guess lots of garden centres and mail order places must sell similar?
  • not sure how big your wooden pot is but try beans /french/runner {you may get a late crop} carrots / swede /turnip/ salad leaves /lettuce /radish beetroot or grow some new potatoes for christmas.oh winter cabbage /leaf beet /chard. good luck
