    RedBalloon,
I don't think the 500 points wyb P&P will work on suncream -mine beeped and I was told that suncare was excluded. Some seem to have that in the t&c's and some don't, but they all seem to beep. Depends if you have a nice SA that will overwrite that for you.
If the total comes to less than £20, I don't think the total spend points will work. They don't beep, but then don't appear on the receipt either
    HTH.

So for the people who have successfully done the No7 glitch today- how did you get the SA to scan the 5 wys £20 voucher when the sun stuff clearly cost less than £20 after the bogof had been deducted:confused: I don't need anything from Boots at the moment  and so if I have to get other bits and pieces to disguise it then it makes it less worthwhile to do it  I love the gwp though and do need to get suncream!!

    Lovely jubblie!! :T

    I'm thinking of getting:

    2 x P&P Anti Ageing Facial Sun Protection - £9.50 each
    1 x Tan wipe - £1
    GWP

    Then using:

    £5 tillspit
£5 off wys £20 PC coupon
500 points wyb any product from the P&P range
150 points wys £20 or more from mailing
and ACM 500 wys £10 or more on No7 Sun Facial Sun Protection

    = 50p plus 1150 points!! :T

Anyone see any errors or can suggest any more coupons to use?
Wasn't sure if healthcare money-off or travel healthcare points would work?

    :D

Boots are soon to change the pack size for their own tampons (lil-lets type) and have reduced the price of the packs of 16. Normal & super both 49p per pack (didn't see any others).

LOL, reading your signature, "the only way is up" sounds bit rude after this post!!!!!!

I see I'm not the first to observe this!!

    ...snip...

I really can't be bothered with this anymore. The last two times I've been in to Boots, the vouchers I've wanted to use have beeped, the SA have been downright moody and rude and it's just not worth the hassle.

So, I'm off on hols next week and will be busy getting ready for the next few days and I'll have to think very seriously about whether or not I will be venturing into Mr B's in future !

It makes me angry that just lately, there seem to be more and more SA being downright rude and nasty to customers who don't deserve anything less than politeness and a bit of good old fashioned 'customer is always right' treatment.

Sorry girls, i'll get off my soap box now. Going to go and have a nice glass of wine and chill out ! :D

I know exactly how you feel and have been thinking the same thing myself! I went to Boots today and yesterday and had fairly pleasant shops --- because I only bought things that I paid for with points! No coupons, no beeping tills, no confused and/or rude SAs.

I'm passing on using coupons for the time being, which means I'm basically not buying anything except with points for now (and I don't have that many left). If some good combos actually work with this new till spit on No7, I may buy some of that. Otherwise, I am really turning down the volume on my spending at Boots, and plan to take most of my shopping elsewhere. I *may* even start getting my recurring prescriptions filled at an online chemist that mails them to you for free. Boots is just turning me off lately.

I guess i must have been really lucky, rarely had a bad shop and all SA's comment on my bargains. I should give up though 'cos i really don't need half the things i have. Think i will do shoe boxes at christmas, i like to feel i can benefit others who perhaps aren't as fortunate as myself :D

I've got to say you are all wicked wicked people - I've never met such a bunch of bad influences in my whole life!:rotfl:

Still not very good at this bootsing thing but went 'for a look' on my way home (team valley store if anyone's interested). I must have looked SO suspicious, as I was wandering around with an envelope full of coupons in my hand, printed a huge sheaf of coupons at the ACM, then wandered aimlessly in circles looking for bargains. Ended up buying:

No7 lip & eye screen x2 = 11.50 (nice stuff, didn't realise it has sparkles!)
    S&G mini flakeaway = 2.00
    S&G mini body butter = 2.00
S&G mini hand cream = 2.00 (I really wanted to try these!)
Expert hair removal cream = 1.32 (will actually use this!)
No7 essential moisture foundation = 10.50 (needed some new foundation)
Pink GWP x2 = 6.00 (just such good value I had to have 2!)
17 blush powder = 2.99 (needed this anyway)
17 lip liner = 2.19 (cheapest thing I could find to get the GWP)
Galaxy minstrels = 1.80 (got no sweets in my car at the moment - needed some!)
Rainbow eye pallette = 4.25 (i know they've been seen for £1 but really wanted it!)

Got current 17 GWP & current No7 GWP free

    Total should have been 46.55

    BUT:

Got no7 lip & eye screen BOGOF so 2 for 5.75
    S&G 3 for 2 so 3 products for 4.00
used 5.00 off no7 cosmetics voucher
    so paid 33.80

also used 100pts on expert hair removal (one ACM voucher, one summer mailing voucher), 500pts on no7 suncare, double points from mailing.

So all in all made saving of 14.32 according to receipt (think it includes the fact that hair removal cream had 1/3 off) and gained 860 points.:j

I know it can't match up to a lot of the bootsing that goes on here, but I'm quite happy with my first big attempt. And I'm definitely addicted - I'm already planning to go to Newcastle tomorrow bootsing!:T

i popped into my local this morning and grabbed a couple of bits for my OH, it does make me ;laugh despite them being busy, it still took 3 of them to watch my transaction, one to put it through and 2 to stand there watching like a hawk and gasping at my points balance.

it does really get on my nerves but i have come up with a plan, when i next go in and they decide to do it again(dead cert lol) i will pay for all of it individually by points, one item at a time. it would also be rude not to take the kids and tell them they can have sweets after they have run around boots for 1/2 hour lol
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
