  • Anyone looking for a cheap product to buy with the rimmel voucher, I can recommend rimmel nail whitening pencil at 2.99 (not the cheapest as nail varnish available at 2.89 I think). You can draw under your nail tips with it and it's a mini french manicure for very very little effort.

    Hi, gals and guys,

I've been away for a few weeks and am going on holiday on Monday, so I need a quick guide to current offers, namely about the current tillspit, since I will need to buy lots of topups. For some reason the first post is looking a bit cryptic to me. :o

    TIA.

PS: Looks like I missed the sale

I only did one voucher on each shop, my logic...apart from drawing attention lol..is that:

One voucher on each shop meant 12 (2 x 6) bits for free, saving (2 x £17.94) £35.88 at normal cost(she'd buy them all eventually etc)

Two vouchers on one shop(could not risk putting through more) would be 6 bits free plus 1 x £8.97 off the bill towards the rest of shopping

So using two vouchers seemed rather illogical, if you will use lots of the stuff and dare not put through more than say 6 bits due to eagle eyed SA's

Not sure that makes sense, but it did to me :rotfl:

Yes it make sense lol. I still can't do it though as in my store we can't use vouchers with other offers i tried to use my expert voucher when the wipes were bogof and SA said no. They have been trained not to except anything.

    Hi,
Just go tback from town and popped to Boots and picked up a reduced Botanics Blemish Prone Concealer for 50p and got the free wipes and also a Sanctuary Sunshine Spa Moisture Lotion SP15 for £1.00 and so my total spend was only £1.50 and I was given a till spit.

Must say I am a little disappointed with this till spit because it is 'Save £5 when you spend £20.00 on your holiday shop. Redeemable brands:- Suncream and aftersun, Sunglasses, All healthcare, Beachwear and travel accessories'
    .
I hope this helps and I look forward to someone telling me the best way to make the most of this till spit.

Must go now as of to pick up my eldest DD's birthday cake as we are having an 18th Birthday party for her tonight with over 100 guests and I'm stressed out already!!!
    Take care.

I think Boots are onto us with the mags! I've had maybe 4 this month, tried to get one the other day and got charged for it, went back and got reund, tried to get another one in different store yesterday, again it beeped and wouldn't let me have a mag o.o Anyone else getting this?
    I'm getting that impression too.
I recently used a mag voucher on the TS long hair offer and asked the SA for another mag when I was doing my transaction. She whispered to me that it was supposed to be one mag per AC holder but put one in my bag without scanning it. I did another transaction with a mag voucher in the same store a few minutes later but with a different SA who actually offered me a mag without me asking  I noticed that she put 2 in my bag and again, didn't scan them.
I wonder if Boots are now training their staff to restrict the number of mags free to AC holders, I'm willing to bet they don't have a problem with people paying £1 for them each time though ;)
  • Do we know how long new till spit is redeemable for?

My initial thoughts are to "spend" twenty pounds including items along the lines of:

2 x No7 suncare on BOGOF (might be enough by itself and get GWP?!)
Baby Soltan cream and lotion BOGOF using the PC coupons - comes to around 5.80 real money but till might count it as £16ish.

Could probably also be combined with some of The Sun coupons i.e. I want a family first aid kit which I think costs 19.99 but sun coupons give £5 off - if can be used in conjunction with this till spit I could buy the first aid kit and some maybe some 16p paracetemol and get it for few pence over £10?
