With all of us going in different directions on holiday, DS decided he needed a camera. When I asked if he was paying for it, he suggested I could use some of my Boots points. I took myself off to Harrow yesterday and asked the nice young man to sell me a camera.

I opted for this one, the nikon coolpix S200.

It was originally, £129.99, down to £99.99 and yesterday it was £60.30. I don't know if this is good or not, but I really did not have time to go running around looking for a better price. They did have a few others, but this seemed to be a good deal. The replacement, which is marginally better, is £129.99.

DD has the Fuji F480, which Boots kindly gave her as a replacement a couple of months ago, because the camera bought last year just died. I did not have the receipt (silly me), but because it was bought on points, which HO confirmed, they said take it back into store and get a replacement.

My points total is now looking very sad at around £70.

Off to swansea tomorrow. Does anyone know if there's a clearance section there? There's rarely any bargains in the Cardiff branch!!!

Hello Dollywops, I am from Harrow too! So you are one of the bootsers who gets all the bargains before i get there! LOL.

I really like this camera but was hoping they had reduced it to £25 like the one gjchester, above found for their kodak camera. :-(

    Never mind will keep trying.

Off to Boots today to get no 7 gwp and buy something to make my hair look better - had it cut and I really don't like what the hairdresser has done, she has made it completely unmanagable! Off to see what T&G can do to fix it.;)

Somebody here mention that GWP Roc goes with any Roc product, so I went to Boots yesterday to grab one. No clearance on Roc shelves, as I was hoping to get one of the reduced sets. Instead got the foaming wash for £6.99 and the bag, which got few things inside including wipes. Paid £1.99, as I used £5 off voucher.

No 7 palette were priced at £4.25, not at £1 as others have managed to grab :o

There is a shelf upstairs in the back corner, near the door to Debenhams. Each time I go there are a few odds and sods, but rarely anything spectacular - most of the packets are burst open etc. I got a Botanics cream facepack for 65p the other day, and DD bought some Nivea face scrub for about £1.25. Hope you are luckier.

Also there are some rails of reduced kids clothes, but I haven't looked at them as my 'baby' is 18!

Last year it was very good and I still have lots of my 'bargains' to use :o , but the Swansea price reductions are never as low as other people have reported  .

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
