  • Decisions, decisions. Thinking of getting another MF gwp to send goodies to my best friend who now lives overseas and says she "misses Boots" (sob!).

    Should I:
    A) Use 2500 of my 18000+ points to get both MF gwps (vanity case and the bronzer make up bag) and use vouchers inside to also get friend the free venus breeze and free Olay regenerist cleanser.

    or

    B) Use cash to get:
    MF Masterpiece mascara 8.99
MF Lipfinity colour and gloss 8.99
MF something else for 7.02 or more - .com doesn't seem to have full range so can't say exactly what.
    Olay Regenerist Thermal Polisher 5.50

Initial total would be at least £30.50. Handover ACM 250pts wys £30, £2 off MF masterpiece, £2 off MF lipfinity, £5 off Olay regenerist (all from gwp) and PC £2 off MF. New total would be around £19 with 370pts.

Pay with money and £5 boots vouchers from survey. Actual total I pay therefore only £14:T And can still use vouchers inside to also get friend the free venus breeze and free Olay regenerist cleanser.

I am loaded up with points but feel it doesn't make sense to use points for purchases which could be got much cheaper with cash. What should I do?!

sorry to be thick but why do you shred expired coupons??? I just bin mine.. I do shred personal stuff just not vouchers..

Because ACM coupons have got my name on them and nothing goes in the bin with my name on it without being shredded first! I don't shred ones without my name on.

Thank you - I ought to have worked out calculations for getting greater quantities printed but using all the coupons as you could still probably work out getting a lot printed for 2-3p each and be much less likely to have SA query it. I think I am going to have my basket full of other stuff which I pay for at the photo counter so to disguise total!!

If you were to put one item of maternity expert range in your basket you would have met the terms of the maternity/baby expert voucher. And if you put one of the 1.99 items of baby expert in your basket you can argue that you want to use the voucher because half of 1.99 is better value than 2 for £3.:D (this argument should at least make them scan it - worked for me with custards once :D ) If you are using both vouchers this should more than pay for the maternity expert item that you didn't really want (BTW I saw Expert Nipple cream on clearance 2.50 in Windsor yesterday!!!!) - just make sure you are spending enough to put your till total at a healthy number that won't make SA jump back in confusion. I have used 2 expert vouchers, one in a tranaction with a car seat on mega day and one at a SS till. Not tried using both together with an SA yet but this is how I would do it.

I was wondering if that would work. The 92/93 vouchers I used before were different sizes and looked a bit different, but I have one set left where they look almost exactly the same. I was wondering if I put one maternity item in (to go with the voucher that says "expert or maternity") would it take half off of that AND still take half off the expert stuff?? That way if the SA said the vouchers were the same, I could say one was for the maternity item.
