Is the thermal wrap in the pink tub good on straight hair as I have straight hair and would like to try it but I thought the products in the the pink packaging were for curly hair?
Hey MBB
I have straight (well sort of straight with frizzy tendencies:eek: ) and it is perfectly OK. My hair felt really soft and light after using it.

Hi everyone. Here is my experience using the Boots Baby Expert glitch.
I found two baby expert vouchers with different barcodes plus a voucher for 500 points when you spend £10 on baby products so decided to take
advantage as much as possible.
I went to Boots in a big shopping centre and found lots of Baby Expert products on the shelves.Unfortunately not many baby oils so I got a lot of other products like to Head to Toe wash, bodywash and creams but had lost count of how much the till would take off so I thought I’d get some Expert stretchmark cream (3 tubs) and I had £ 2 off voucher for Pantene which was on 2x £4 so got two of them as well and thought I would be ok.
Went to the till where there was a young guy who patiently scanned all the items. Then at the end it came to - £3.52.:o They guy at the till panicked and said how can it be I must have pushed the refund button by mistake.I told him I would go and get something else but he said no there was no need and called his supervisor. The supervisor came and said that he had pushed the refund button by mistake and had to put all the items through the till again.I felt a bit bad thenas I knew I was due money on the till so told my husband to go and grab two deodorants for at least £ 4.The guy at the till said he was sorry and he started to group all the baby expert items by type:rolleyes:
So he didn’t have to pass all the items through again. He was really happy at the end when the till came to £ 0.91!Oh dear!Anyway I thanked him and went out of the shop really quickly!I checked the receipt and also the Expert stretch mark cream had gone through at half price!
Thanks to everyone who helped.:beer:half scottish half italian :100%moneysaver0 -
Thanks everyone for your replies; hand on heart, I can say that you are indeed a nice bunch
I obviously am in the minority so I expect I'll just have to put up with it

Majority/minority ...... doesn't matter Chris ..... all here to take 'advantage' of Mr B as much as we can
.......... welcome aboard  !
Although Chris there is the 'initiation' that you have to go through - have to find a glitch within your first week  ............ (:laugh:joking hun xx)
To keep it Boots related- have had hair done (very nice indeedy if I do say so myself !) - now it's been thinned out I can start straightening it again :j . Just wanted to ask who uses what heat protection products as i'll have to pop and get some at the weekend (at Boots obviously !;) )
TIA xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

Hopefully other MSErs can advise whether this is actually a heat protection or not but if it is, (LOL)
then with the mag voucher you could get it free with any other purchase of TS. (Or maybe even both free if it qualifies under PC, again not sure?)
I found a reduced TS root cover up earlier and got myself a free £7 tub of that Thermal mask from the TS Long hair range using the mag voucher!0 -

I use T&G (and also TIGI which unfortunately boots don't sell.)
Edited to add that if you are not sure which one you want to use you could try getting some minis to try beofre getting full size ones."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic:D

Or even better what about trying the MM Helena vitamin spray (which I use before blow drying) esp as it's as good as free at the mo! Well, reduced to £2.50 (can anyone confirm the styling is reduced too?) and using the mag insert voucher for 250 points. :j
Or,
There is a Botanics one too, currently on 2 for £5 plus if you got a SA like someone else did recently (who decided the wipes came with everything Botanics! - doubtful but obv possible!) then free wipes too.
Edited to add that there seems to be quite a few on offer at the mo according to .com, as Schwarkopf Pro Styling Heat Protection Straightening Spray is reduced to £1.99 too and actually mentions straightening irons so less ambiguous than the MM.
Happy Bootsing!0 -
