I will stop babbling now its just im really disappointed was so looking forward to it and it was such a let down.

Although it is going back as didnt realise you had to buy charger seperate which is another £25 as it doesnt take normal aa rechargable batteries so will pick another me thinks

    :D

Awww what a shame, I've always found I get the best shots myself, I think between say 3 months and 2.5 they refuse to perform!

My dad is chuffed with this camera from BOOTS 12 MP is alot for £99.99! Is rechargable(little bettery pack) and you can get non casio branded recharghables on amazon, so you can have one as back up as they always die when you most need them!

Ok so I have some vouchers that I really would like to swap, send me a PM.
I didn't get the No7 ACM vouchers so they would be nice!

    I have:
    [STRIKE]
Summer Mailing £2.50 off WYS £10 on Healthcare (expires 19/08)
[/STRIKE]ACM vouchers valied until 12th August:
2 x 250 points when you buy Botanics 3 minutes deep conditioning hair mask (you can get 2 of these for £5, and they are £5 each anyway!)
2 x Save £1 WYB 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss.
Anyone for the ACM vouchers? :)

Would any Londoners like to educate me on which Boots are the best around the centre of london? Around oxford street, covent garden, etc. oh and maybe a bit around camden!

    I'm coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Lilflower

I can tell ya about Victoria, Piccadilly Circus, Carnaby St and Oxford St... will that do for starters?

Victoria - There are 3 branches in the Victoria Station. Not really any bargains as they mostly cater for commuters, but a good place to start to get a meal deal to give you strength for the bootsing ahead:rotfl: . Within walking distance of the station are another 3 boots, the first one you come to has a bif clearance section at the back of the shop and has self service tills, the staff in there are really nice and friendly. The next one you would come to (just before you get to House of Fraser) also has a clearance section just in front to the sandwich chillers, but they don't reduce stuff by much! The last one in Victoria St is really only a sandwich branch and really small although it does have a downstairs section but I have never been down there. It is opposite the houses of parliament.

Piccidilly Circus - There is a big branch in piccadilly circus. It has recently got a clearance section, but there isn't much on it. They have 100's of JK nail files:T .

If you come out of the piccidilly branch, walk down regents street and you will eventually come to signs pointing to Carnaby St (just before Hamleys). There is a new branch being built in Carnaby St, but the old one is still there. It is a small branch but has a clearance section in front of the perfume counter. Not bad bargains.

The biggest branch is in Oxford St, No clearance but has all the concessions, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome,Benefit etc etc, and always has the latest GWPs. Was good for the reduced perfume, (Smiley sets for £7.25) but no other bargains really. There is another branch about 100 yards away (just by Bond St Station) which is small and has no clearance.

Hope this hasn't confused you too much...LOL

    Mel

I went to Boots Today and tried to use the £5.00 holiday Spit. I bought 2 x No 7 tanmaintainers @£10.50 each and picked up a GWP. I then gave her the 500 points from ACM for spend of £10.00 of no 7 Tanning product and the till spit. It took the points voucher and accepted the till spit but did not deduct the £5.00. The SA was really nice and said they had been sent a letter from head office to say the cannot accept the till spit if £20.00 is not spent after bogof. Funny thing was it showed up on the receipt but its value was £0.00. I had a lovely chat with the SA about the voucher and she said even they did not understand what health products you can use it on so she called over the manager and he tried it out with a few pharmacy items and it worked all the time. Now just need another Bootser to find a glitch for it. In my store it said GWP was free with a £15.00 spend and not £20.00 as before. I am off to the big town me in the morning to drop my DD at work and to do a mystery shop at PC world so maybe another trip to Boots is on the cards. I am newly seperated from my hubby of 27 years ( my choice!!) and enjoying my new found freedom. I love Boots.

i wedged it under my single buggy, visited tescos also and gained 4 bags of stuff and then back to boots and tied the last 5 bags to the handles and staggered back. i took my 4 year old with me, she was made up i bought her a toy camera from poundworld and she was walking round boots taking pictues, the flippin thing shouts smile or cheese everytime lol but she made me laugh as i was ripping out the mag vouchers she says why didn't you bring your scissors - you've got your darts in your bag and they are more dangerous :rotfl: :rotfl:, which was true i had left them in by mistake

good for you boys are rubbish chuck em in the bin!! No, I mean if you felt that was the right thing for you to do then i don't blame you and you go and enjoy yourself - stick with us on here we may be mental but we all enjoy a laugh, feel free to join in!

My husband has gone to the pub, i have already put his pillow on the settee, can't be bothered with a drunken fumble at 2am if i'd have been out with him it may be different, i could have slipped him a blue pill and maybe enjoyed myself, but some of us need our beauty sleep!
