hmm............somethings amiss with my points from my shop today and I can't work out what but I think I missed out on 500 points somewhere:eek: can any one help please?
here's my shop:
1x no 7 facial sun- 10.50
1x no7 tan maintainer - 0.0 on bogof
gwp - 0.0
botanics hair mask x2 - 5.
no 17 lipgloss 3.79
no17 nailvarnish - 2.59
no 17 gwp - 0.0
rimmel soft kohl eyeliner x2 @2.99 - 5.98
ts colour root thingy -0.10
ts shampoo - 4.49
total to pay £32.xx
handed over :
250 points wys £30 acm
250 botanics hair mask
500 wys £10 no 7 facial suncare
H&B mag free ts long hair voucher
Printable Rimmel eyeliner
£5 til spit
total to pay £ 18.97 :T
However, my points are
normal 76
kiosk offer 250
*offer points* 500
went back as didn't think it was right lovely SA took my vouchers back out the til and manually added 250 (for botanics), but I still think the points aren't right
sorry for the essay!!:D
well, from your vouchers you earned 1000pts and when the SA added the 250 that would be right, plus 76 for 18 spend is right cos its 4 per £1
at least I think so
sorry did you have 750 points plus 76 normal AFTER SA added another 250pts? If so, it maybe that the 250 wys £30 acm didn't add as your final total was under this?Treasurer and Co Founder of - The Smile It Won't Hurt Club

Unless there is something I can't see, I think you might actually have got 250 more than you should have LOL
I had 750 + 76 normal (so should this have been 180?)
then SA added another 250
Hmm was pleased with my shop anyway:D0 -
hi guys,
I have read the first/second thread and I'm still a bit oblivious...
I am quite into my Tesco H&B deals - where you have to 'spend' more than £10 for the extra points and then after that the BOGOF's come into play and you only actually spend £5.15 or so... Is this possible at Boots?
with the MOC's do you have to buy the product?
I'm also assuming that you can basically claim all these free points and then have a store on your advantage card and then start using the stored points to 'fund' future pointboosts
You all also seem way more addicted to this than the Tesco H & B guys - which must mean there are more finds to be had! - so am I missing out big time here?I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

Im really confused over my points too.I purchased today
1 x hair relaxer £2.84
1x meal deal £2.99
4 x JK Nail files £2 each
2 x reduced sanitary towel 50p
Total
£14.33
Got 24 Normal points, and 1000 Jk points.
When I had buyers remorse and returned
4 x JK Files on the same day
I had 32 normal points taken off, and the bonus 1000 removed
I know this has happened before, and veteran Bootsers explained why....but I cant find the post.I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A0 -

ah!!
There was me wracking my brains trying to get a 'shopping at boots' theme to it and it was just a normal acronym!
Ok - so final post here. With the Mr T's H&B you don't really have to 'invest' a big spend to get the points (though you have to wait for H&B booklet to come out) whereas here you seem to have to spend a lot (seeing £18/£30 etc) to get your points. This correct?
Also, I've checked out the advantage card webpage and it seems you can only spend in store- but i'm sure a few years back i saw you could have spa days etc. Is this the case?
And if you do have to spend a bit to get points then surely i should only spend on products I want. Unless the advantage points can be used for other things...
I am quite frankly puzzled!I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
