The price stuff like this goes for always shocks me.Im sure this isnt a card that is being investigated, but how would you know:rolleyes:

Its like gift vouchers.I saw a £40.00 Boots gift voucher go for £43.00 , plus £3.50 p&p, what are people thinking:confused: Why not get one from dot.com if ya cant get to Boots:confused:

Edit Mrs T ...I was thinking where is everyone too:) .

I wasn't even thinking of it being investigated right now, I was thinking some grumpy SA might see so many points on the card and look into it. Unlikely, but I just couldn't see risking that kind of money on something where the points could be canceled if the Boots Gods deign it to be so. But I worry too much, lol.

Just to say - another reason for this is that earlier this year paypal were sending people vouchers for £10 off ebay items when you pay with paypal. So it might have cost the person £10 less than it seemed!

I do think you'd have to be bonkers to buy that AC off ebay though! It's not as if you could even use it on anything big like electricals, baby furniture etc because most stores don't stock that stuff. It'd take years to spend! You'd probably make more in interest on your £670 in that time than you'd save!!

Does anyone know why some people get some ACM vouchers, and others dont? Is it based on what you buy instore?

Edit .........as I got voucher for a free little Med Foam Bath and my lil sis didnt, she was furious lol.

I emailed CS about this a couple of months ago, and they said the vouchers were targeted and basically tough luck if I didn't get something, lol.

I agree! Why pay someone that much money for an AC card if you already have it! Just spend your own money. I still can't understand how they have racked up so many points but not spent them...

I did make an offer, of £10, and for some reason, I was declined?

great way to get rid of one you found in the machine though.....how could you check before buying that it was still valid?
To have that many points , even as a seasoned Bootster , would take a hell of a spend over a long period!

I'm off to Boots at lunchtime and would like to treat myself to a couple of make up brushes, ideally a blusher brush and a powder brush, or a set if it works out cheaper. Can anyone recommend a good brand or any decent offers?
Thank you to all who post comps and good luck to all who enter :j

Presume 500 points on no7 is from the summer mailing? not the till spit on any suncare?

    If so...
    2 x No7 Anti Ageing Anti-Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection @ £10.50 = £21.00
    GWP
    BOGOF -£10.50
    Till Spit -£5.00
    500pts wys £10 Facial ACM
    500pts from mailing??????
£5.50 and 584 pts/1084 if you mean additional one from mailing etc

Just do not do with the trevor sorbie deal as sarah skint has found it cancels out the till spit ;)

I'm not sure of any offers, but No7 has some nice brushes. You could get a couple, then toss in a couple of lip/eye protectors BOGOF and you'll be able to use your 500 points ACM on no7 facial suncare, and should get a gwp, too.

Otherwise, on Wednesday the extra points on Benefit starts, you could get 500 points back on a couple of brushes (though I think the brushes cost more than No7).

Could put the no7 blusher (£8) and powder (£9) towards a £20 spend and get a no7 gwp

Or wait till Wednesday get a jemma kid cheek (£9) and face (£10) and get 500 points which starts in store then

Or if you wanted to do deal on any 2 products = 500 points, that starts wednesday, then you could go better and get...

    cheek plus nail file = £11 and 500 + 44 normal points
then face plus nail file = £12 and 500 + 48 normal points
so in the two transactions it would be £23 and 1092 points back

But, think bourjois had reductions instore when I was passing?

EDIT: Noticed the max factor stand had some brush rolls (black) with a good selection in, not sure of price though or if a previous gwp?????????
