My mum bought a tefal quick cup and hated it so she gave it to me. I find it ok (but then I didn't pay for it, lol)
I also have mine standing on a folded tea towel to muffle the sound. Because it was given to me I still have my kettle for when we have more people to make drinks for.:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -

Yes there is ...I have just purchased one! its called the eco kettle and works like any normal kettle except that you fill a chamber in the centre and then press the top to measure out how much water you want to boil! Its great and boils very fast. I got mine from
