economic kettle?

My mum bought a tefal quick cup and hated it so she gave it to me. I find it ok (but then I didn't pay for it, lol)
I also have mine standing on a folded tea towel to muffle the sound. Because it was given to me I still have my kettle for when we have more people to make drinks for.

Yes there is ...I have just purchased one! its called the eco kettle and works like any normal kettle except that you fill a chamber in the centre and then press the top to measure out how much water you want to boil! Its great and boils very fast. I got mine from
