Anyone just back from Majorca?

I'm wondering what the exchange rate is if we took cash with us to change there.
Travelled around the greek islands in June and found that we could have got much better exchange rate out there. Even cigarettes had deals on if paid in sterling.

I work at Bournemouth Airport and lately a lot of travellers have been saying they wished they had exchanged here rather than spain ??

Been back from there just 3 days, the exchange rate is much the same as it is here. If you are not going immediately I would look at crowncurrencyexchange.com which have a rate of 1.2307 if your going in between 15 - 21 days (as good as it gets at the moment I am afraid) which is between 1 - 3 cents difference. I can certainly see after being there why after getting an exchange rate of 1:48 to the £ last year peeps are opting to go outside of the Eurozone, I would consider the same if I had an idea of the best options available HTH
